WeaveYourWay - FAQ

Weaving kits and frame looms made in Stockholm – answers to your most common questions

What is WeaveYourWay?

WeaveYourWay is a small Swedish brand based in Stockholm, selling weaving kits and frame looms for beginners and creative hobbyists. Our frame looms are 3D-printed on demand in Stockholm, and our kits include everything you need to start weaving right away.

What makes Frame Loom No.1 different?

Frame Loom No.1 features a patented magnet system that lets you attach a pattern, picture or graph paper to the back of the loom in seconds. It shows through the warp so you can follow it directly as you weave — no taping, no holding, no fiddling. Traditional frame looms require you to improvise when working from a design. Ours doesn't. Swap templates instantly, experiment with different patterns, or use it to teach others.

Is weaving difficult for beginners?

Not at all — especially with smaller projects. A simple wall hanging or textile square is something most beginners can complete in an evening. Weaving is one of those crafts where you can start creating something beautiful right away, without any prior experience.

What is included in the Complete Weaving Kit?

The Complete Weaving Kit includes everything you need to start weaving right away — no guesswork, no extra purchases. In the box you'll find:

  • Frame Loom No.1 with patented magnet system

  • Weaving comb for precise weaving

  • Cotton warp thread

  • Wool roving 50g

  • Wool yarn 50g

  • Boucle yarn 25g

  • Wooden dowel for hanging

  • 2-page quick-start guide

  • Access to step-by-step video tutorials

The loom measures 24x18cm and comes in 5 colours. Made to order in Stockholm.

Why buy from WeaveYourWay instead of a craft store?

Our products are designed specifically for frame loom weaving — not generic craft supplies. The magnet system on Frame Loom No.1 is patented and exclusive to us. Everything is also produced sustainably on demand in Stockholm, so you're supporting small-scale, local manufacturing.

Are the looms durable?

Yes. Our looms are 3D-printed in bio-based PLA, a durable and resource-efficient material. They're designed for repeated use and built to last.

Are 3D-printed looms sustainable?

Yes. We produce each loom only when ordered, which eliminates overproduction, and we use bio-based PLA as an alternative to fossil-based plastics. The combination of local, small-scale production and considered material choices makes manufacturing more resource-efficient than traditional mass production.

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide.

How long does delivery take?

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping to Sweden costs 59 SEK (which is approximately 6 EUR). International shipping costs 79 SEK (which is approximately 8 EUR).
